Father   Don  spent  39 years  in the  Redemptorist  foreign mission  along the Amazon River in Brazil. While assigned to Brazil, he studied moral theology in Rome. He's  been a  pastor,  preached  retreats,  taught,  authored  books and articles,  spiritually  advised  many  lay  groups,  aided  seminarians,  and held administration positions.He is happy being able to now tell stories and jokes in English instead of Portuguese!
